Baker University
Baldwin City, KS
Founded: June 16, 1916

On May 22, 2011 the collegiate chapter ceased operations at Baker University.
Over the past decade the number of women attending Baker University has declined
and the number of women going through Sorority Recruitment has also declined.
It was determined that the potential new member population is not large enough
to support four sororities. It is the goal of Phi Mu and Baker University to
recolonize the chapter in the coming years. All existing collegiate members were
granted Alumna status and the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter has welcomed
our new collegiate Alumni with open arms. We will continue to support these women
throughout their college years, as their situation is unique as the women themselves.
