I was initiated in 1995 into the Zeta Alpha Chapter at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas where I graduated in 1999 with a Psychology Degree. After graduation, I moved to Washington, D.C. where I attended American University and graduated in 2003 with a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice. I moved back to Kansas City in 2005 and I am currently work for a large Law Firm in Kansas City in the Intellectual Property Division. For my free time, I love taking my adorable dog, Toby, for walks around the neighborhood or going to the movies with friends. In addition to Alumnae President, I am also working as Membership Advisor to the Zeta Alpha Chapter. I am excited to be involved with the executive board and to meet all the wonderful Phi Mu sisters in our area. I am proud of all the activities we do for our local CMN hospitals and I am looking forward to all the fun events we have planned for the year! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the alumnae chapter! |

Heart to Heart

I am a 1975 initiate of Zeta Alpha Chapter. As a legacy, Phi Mu and her women have been a part of my life since I was a child. I have spent many years since college working with the collegiate chapter at Baker University and her alumnae in a number of different capacities. Living in Baldwin City gives me the opportunity to keep the alumnae chapter in front of the collegiate chapter and I look forward to representing our chapter with the women of other nearby chapters. |

Philanthropy

As the philanthropy chair, I am very excited to get everyone pumped up about CMN and all the other great organizations we can help out around the area. I was initiated into the Zeta Alpha chapter of Phi Mu at Baker University in 1998. I graduated from Baker University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I coordinate 3 day programs for adults with developmental disabilities, and I absolutely love it. I have been doing this since I graduated from Baker in 2001. I have been married for 5 years to my husband, Eric, and we have a rambunctious 7 year old boy, Malaki. Other than serving as the philanthropy chair, I keep myself busy by keeping up with my husband and son, serving as the secretary of the PTO, co-chair of the elementary site council, and hanging out with my friends and family. |

Web site design is my hobby and I enjoy the creativity that comes with it. I was initiated in 1996 into the Zeta Alpha Chapter at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas where I graduated in 1997 with an International Business Degree. After working for several years in my field, I decided that computers and programming was my calling. Currently I work at Children's Mercy Hospital Downtown as a Software Applications Supervisor. I am hoping to reach new and old members who are looking to rejoin the Phi Mu Alumnae group and also Phi Mus who are moving to the Kansas City area from all over the country. The website is a place to go for up to date information and upcoming events, as well as current announcements and reminders. It is an ever changing project. I'm very excited that our website won the 1st place Outstanding Alumnae Website award at the 2008 Convention! |
